Michael T. Ross, Esq. (Of Counsel)

Michael T. Ross serves as Of Counsel for the firm. He provides legal counseling on community association law and consumer protection litigation.

Mr. Ross was admitted to the Florida bar in 2011. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Ross worked as a paralegal for six years assisting attorneys in all phases of condominium & homeowners’ association law. He later attended Florida State University where he graduated summa cum laude, number six in his class. Upon graduation, Mr. Ross was awarded the prestigious Order of the Coif. After law school, Mr. Ross briefly worked in the litigation department of a mortgage foreclosure firm before accepting a position as an appellate lawyer at a prestigious Miami law firm. Mr. Ross recognized a rampant problem in the South Florida area (as well as other areas of Florida) whereby the rights of hardworking owners were being violated by out-of-control associations and their debt collectors and, in 2013, started his own firm representing owners in disputes against their association. Mr. Ross also specializes in consumer protection. When you hire an attorney to represent you, debt collectors must stop contacting you by phone or mail, and instead must contact your attorney regarding your case. If debt collectors continue to harass you, a valid cause of action may exist against the debt collectors for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA). Mr. Ross has represented owners in the state and federal courts including at the appellate level for the last eight (8) years.
