Even Picasso could not create a work of art without the proper tools. That’s exactly how attorney Lourdes Ferrer feels about legal work. She prioritizes getting Ferrer Law Group, LLC, the firm she founded in 2012, stellar technology and top case management systems.
“With these resources, we’re able to outperform the adversary,” she says.
Ferrer Law Group’s practice focuses on community association law and consumer protection litigation. When she started her career in Big Law, she handled the cases assigned to her. Now, she takes pride in choosing the firm’s cases.
“I feel strongly about who I represent, the legal issues and the consequences of an association’s actions,” she says.
Ferrer opened her firm when she saw a need to provide legal representation to actual property owners. With 45 years of combined legal experience, Ferrer Law Group offers its clients customized legal strategies and frequently co-counsels with other law firms.
“This collaborative alliance offers our clients unique opportunities with combined resources and differing perspectives,” she says.
Ferrer Law Group is known for its preparation and attention to detail.
“Knowledge is power, and we’ve learned to expect the unexpected,” Ferrer says. “This helps achieve the client’s particular goals and exceed expectations.”
The firm provides Big Law representation but with a personalized, boutique firm experience.
Thanks to its success, the firm has had multiple appellate opinions published that provide solid precedence to this area of law. Ferrer Law Group recently became so busy that it currently has a wait list.
Ferrer earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology and political science from Florida International University and received her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law. Before founding the firm, Ferrer worked at two of Florida’s larger law firms, Conroy Simberg, et. al., and Becker and Poliakoff. She’s been recognized as a Florida rising star by Florida Super Lawyers magazine and a Top-Rated Lawyer in 2020 by Avvo/Martindale.
Ferrer is involved with multiple charitable organizations, such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Goldie’s Gang. Her main philanthropic focus is working with the pet rescue Saving Grace & Her Furry Friends.
